Right now I have a stack of books I need to be reading. I need to read them because I've gotten them from the author, publisher, or some independent firm and the price of the book is one review. I like this arrangement for the most part. It cuts down on the amount of cash I spend each month. But the one down side is that I don't always have time to read the things I would just like to read.
The list below are the books that I am hoping to get around to sometime soon. I have copies already, just waiting to be opened and fallen in love with. Have you read any of them? What did you think about them? Love them? Hate them? Never read them? I'm dying to know.
- Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
- Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
- Thursday Next: First Among Sequels by Jasper Fforde
- Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith
- Dark Lover by J.R. Ward
- Ironside: A Modern Faery's Tale by Holly Black
- Nightengale's Lament: A Novel of the Nightside by Simon R. Green
- Hex and the City: A Novel of the Nightside by Simon R. Green
- Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
- Love Bites by Lynsay Sands

Of course I've read the Nightside books, and loved them.. And read about half of Uglies the other night at the book store. I'll probably read the rest tonight or tomorrow night.
I really enjoy the Nightside books too (thanks to you!) I am so tempted just to spend the weekend reading those. I'm looking forward to what you think of the Uglies book. I've heard some good things.
I've read some of them. The first two are faeries, and I love faeries. :) I have Tantalize that I'll be doing for Halloween. *grin*
Haven't gotten to it yet, but I have the Thursday Next book. :)
Great titles but no I haven't read one of them. Looking forward to your reviews! Oh, check out my blog I found a story about a huanted library! Ghost among the books.
Thanks for stopping by my book blog :)
I'll be linking you up, how in the world did you get such a great deal as getting books jus for the sake of reviewing them? As homeschoolers here we are forever reading and forever racking up fines at the library (we look at it as a monetary support system) as we could never afford all the books we would want to buy.
I have read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I enjoyed it. The series seems to have some original ideas mixed with some old stand by's.
Sassy Lucy, if you stick around blogging about books long enough, people (editors, publicists, authors) will start approaching you. Just make sure your email address is somewhere findable on your site. I'll be sure to check out your site.
Katie, that is an impressive stack. It would take me 3 or 4 months to get through it!!
Great list!
Kimberly, Thanks for stopping by! :) Tantalize should be a good one for Holloween. I'm hoping I can read it by then as well. :)
7ine, have you read the rest? Don't you just love them?! I just Jasper Fforde. Have you been reading the other series he writes? I like those as well but not as much as the Thursday Next books. :)
Yoga Gal, I'm on my way over to your blog right now...
Sassy Lucy, I write for Blogcritics.org as well as keep up this blog. I've been doing reviews for a little over a year... it's taken a lot of time to build up contacts and what not. Just takes time. And Tia is so right, you just have to stick it out.
Tia, I think it might take me that long as well! I'm hoping to get through the stack I have to read (which is about 16) and start on these soon.
Robert, thanks! :)
Cee, I'm looking forward to starting the series. Most people I've talked to that have read the first couple of books enjoyed them. Do you think you'll read the rest?
I hope you get to the books you just want to read. Knowing you, you will.
BtW, I'm on internet restriction at work. So I can't post and read as often as I used to. I Miss you though.
Kahnee, that sucks! How did that happen? I've been wondering where you were... hopefully they ease up a bit soon :)
