This is the to to be read pile next to the bed. See! It really does go all the way to the ceiling. Unfortnately this is only one of many stacks around my house. And that's my cat Newt. But since it's been a slow weekend I thought I would share. What do you have in your to be read stack right now?

Oh, I see a Stephen King novel near the top!

Applause to you. I am impressed with your to-be-read collection. Mine is only a shelf-ful thus far. I'll put up a picture of mine here shortly. :) Safe to say, you definitely have me beat!

I've got a few Stephen King in there. Lisley's Story, the second of the Gunslinger saga, and Salem's Lot. I'll get around to them eventually. :)

I've been looking up a few of the titles I could decipher on the binding. That Crown Duel one sounds really good. :)

Yeah I picked that one up the other day. It does look like it should be good. Then I've got some: Martha Grimes, Carl Hiassen, Rachel Caine, James Rollins, Lynsay Sands, E.E. Knight, James Patterson, Tess Gerristen... gosh the list just goes on and on.

E. E. Knight, thank you! I kept thinking it was C. C. Knight. :D

holy jeebus!!!
I thought you were taking creative license when you said the books went to the ceiling... o_0

Right now I am reading "The decil's alternative" by Frederick Forsyth

Just curious, but there's one on the second stack, a few above Newt's rump there, one named 'Haunted'. Can you tell me the author on that one?

I'm sorry...I'm treating you like a library directory. My apologies. :D

Roo, LOL! :) Is your book any good? What's it about?

Sevenine, it's Haunted by Kelley Armstrong, it's book five in her Women of the Otherworld series. It's supernatural/paranormal romance. And I don't mind you asking at all!

T.C. Robson said...

Oh, awesome! Love supernatural paranormal creepy stuff! Definitely looking into that series!

How do you keep the cat from knocking the books down?!

OH My Gosh!

Angela, I've got the very last book wedged in at the top to keep that stack from falling over and the other stack leans into that one. My cats just kind of sniff at the books really, they have never knocked the pile over.

Kahnee, I know! It's so bad. I need more space for books. :)

Wow, what a great stack :) It's a great feeling when it reaches the ceiling!

I haven't read Haunted, yet, but I did enjoy Broken by Kelley Armstrong.

I haven't reviewed much like it, yet, but I'm very partial to vampires/werewolves, etc =D

I ordered the US version despite living in the UK, Lawrence, but a read tells me that she keeps getting an email from Amazon saying the supplier (namely the publisher) keep changing the release date.

I'll be posting my Q&A with Patrick as soon as I get the answers in later this week :)

Wert -- Am I the only one a little surprised that Orbit haven't done much to advertise Daniel's book release? I might request a copy; I enjoyed Hunter's Run.

Best,

That's an impressive TBR pile. I've got Douglas Coupland, Nick Hornby, Jonathan Safran Foer, Zadie Smith and a bunch of others in my pile.

1000 pages of incomprehensible political science textbooks - to be read before Friday.

(Aaaauuggggghhhhh!!!)

How do you get the middle or next to the bottom book out that you just have to read next without tipping the pile over? That is some pile of books Katie! On both sides of our bed are books and magazines. It is frightful somedays! But I would sooner see someone's bedroom that way than no books at all. That would make me wonder!

Looks perilously dangerous, lol

Chris, hey thanks for stopping by! Glad the book made it to you ok. I'm looking forward to your review of it. :) And your so right about the good feeling as your TBR stack reaches the ceiling. I just hope it won't fall down. :)

MiniJonB, ooo. I love Nick Hornby. I've got a few on my list to read soon and I'm really looking forward to them. :) How to be Good is in there I think. :) Which Zadie Smith are you reading? I almost picked up a copy of White Teeth the other day. Is that any good?

Dingobear, oh wow. so brave of you (even if it is for class) I hope you got through it all. :)

Leroy, I have to take the stack down and build it back up. But I try to read off the top. The problem is that I'm always adding new books. :)

Nouveaublogger, I know! LOL! :)

I have a stack like that of what I have read this year.....
But I am out of new books. I need to go get some more.
Or I will come take some of yours.

Katie said...

Ron, you can only have mine if I've already read them...and if I didn't like them because I keep all the books I do like. :) What have you been reading, anything good?
